Sahara

Saraha

Sahara draws its energy from the vast, wind-sculpted landscapes of desert terrain. The warm peach and coral tones evoke sun-bleached sand and the amber light of late afternoon, while the sweeping curvilinear forms suggest both movement and stillness — dunes caught in perpetual motion. The piece was created using a multi-step hot-sculpting process, with individual glass elements shaped and joined while still molten. The intertwining forms rely on gravity and centrifugal force during creation, resulting in curves that no purely mechanical process could replicate.
